Meridian Health Care
With five different buildings each featuring different fire alarm panels to maintain, Meridian needed to streamline service and costs.
By using strategic partners and procuring the right equipment, G&C now supports all central station monitoring, fire alarm and service calls to all local systems--including CCTV, access control and nurse call.
Princeton Forrestal Village
Comprised of 700,000 square feet of mixed-use space on 52 acres, Forrestal Village includes a hotel and conference center, retail stores, restaurants and even a seasonal farmer's market. It also needed to streamline eight control panels over five buildings.
With G&C's assistance, Forrestal Village now hosts an onsite solution.
Homeland Defense, northeastern United States
Requiring tight security by its very nature, Homeland Defense had experienced widespread problems during an existing vendor's construction on buildings that house its Air Marshalls Defense Program.
G&C evaluated and made prompt repairs to HD's access control system, CCTV, emergency response system, burglar and fire alarm systems. HD asked G&C to take over five additional buildings for the same installations.
CityCenter, Las Vegas, Nevada
Las Vegas' new 76-acre, $9 billion CityCenter complex needed state of the art security technology to protect the award-winning investment. The largest privately funded construction project in the United States, CityCenter includes MGM Properties' Monte Carlo Las Vegas and Bellagio Las Vegas.
G&C partnered with Rauch International as MGM Mirage's advocate and professionals to vet specific security equipment such as license plate recognition, CCTV cameras and specialized security sensing devices such as bomb detection and ground fault sensors. "Because of the size and scope of the project, it was necessary to bring in professionals such as G&C to break down different pieces of the puzzle," said G&C owner and president Kevin Oliver. Working with MGM Mirage's security directors and IT professionals, G&C helped vet a truly integrated solution.
Bayview, Perth Amboy
Bayview Condos struggled with three different intercom and access systems that added up to extra costs.
G&C merged several different technologies together on one platform and database for easy maintenance by the management company. By converting all fire alarm panels to IP-based communication, Bayview was able to eliminate its phone bills and realize significant cost savings.
